Common questions
- Can we use this for staff forms?
- Yes. Set a form to Internal and only signed-in members of your church can open or submit it. Templates include purchase, reimbursement, creative, tech, facility and event requests.
- Does every form include a QR code?
- Yes. Every published form has a share link and a QR code you can download as PNG or SVG. The code points to a stable Forms for Church link, so printed codes keep working even if you later connect a custom domain.
- Can more than one person receive notifications?
- Yes, on every plan: up to 25 recipients per form. Addresses that belong to your signed-in team members are ready right away; any other address gets one confirmation email and receives notifications only after it confirms. By default emails contain the form name, time and a secure link rather than the answers themselves; admins can choose specific non-sensitive fields to include.
- Can we use our church's branding?
- Yes. Upload your logo and choose your colors once and every form inherits them. Individual forms can override the logo, accent color or add a header image.
- Can we connect our own domain?
- Custom domains such as forms.yourchurch.org are a Pro feature. A DNS record verifies ownership, but the custom link works only after hosting and HTTPS are confirmed. If setup remains at Verified, contact support. Your Forms for Church links keep working alongside it.
- Does it connect to Planning Center?
- Not yet. A Pro integration is planned to send selected form responses to Planning Center. It will not import or sync your Planning Center directory into Forms for Church. Limited account and exact-match checks are needed to send safely. Pro includes webhooks for moving submissions into another system now.
- Can we export responses?
- Yes. Export any form's submissions to CSV from the submissions tab on every plan.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Your church can still view its forms and responses and export them to CSV. New forms, publishing, uploads and responses pause until the owner chooses a paid Starter or Pro plan.
